The closure of the training program on the use of international advocacy and monitoring tools for violations against women issues, in Seiyun

The training program for media and human rights activists on (using international advocacy and monitoring tools for violations against women issues) closed today in Sabaya Center hall in Seiyun, which was implemented by Al-Amal Women’s and Sociocultural Foundation (AWSF) as part of the activities of (Together for Her) project.

In the training program, which lasted for 7 days, in which the trainees received knowledge about women’s rights in international and humanitarian laws, how to monitor violations and their mechanisms in order to advocate for digital women’s issues, in addition to carrying out activities to monitor violations against women’s rights and drafting humanitarian stories and messages regarding women’s violations in the community to present them to international organizations and help the local community to advocate for its causes.

For her part, Ms. Diaa Al-Awaini, the program trainer, spoke of her happiness with the success of the program, the trainees benefit, and the completion of assignments related to issues of monitoring violations and its mechanisms in order to advocate for women’s sector issues. She thanked the program organizers, represented by Dr. Abhaa Ba-Awaidan, head of Al-Amal Women’s and Sociocultural Foundation, and Ms. Solaf Al-Hanshi, Program Coordinator.
