The orientation and backgrounds of women human rights activists differ in all parts of the world, but they agree on one thing, which is their defense of women’s rights and ensuring to have those rights, also the violations that they have faced…. For this, the surrounding communities will be against them, because they challenge the social and cultural traditions and customs which are the basis of their socialization… They live in a stressful environment that impedes their activities and affects their psychological balance, because on a broad level and in different environments, they may be exposed to threats, detention, imprisonment, physical or psychological assault, kidnapped, forced disappearance, harassment, or they are exposed to defamation of reputation or cyberbullying, through which threats, pressure, and many violations occur. Some women activists resort to silence. Through this, it may appear to them that they are calming the conflict and directing threats so that they ignore many of the reactions and violations that they face, imagining that if they prosecute and deal with these violations will lead to endless battles, and may be subjected to fierce attack from the society, many matters will happen, and accusations that affect honor will be attached to them, which is considered the aspect which women, especially women’s rights defenders, always fight for it, while their silence results in various things:
· Losing their right as defenders, which they will obtain by all means, requires patience and strength from them, as they are right holders and defend a right, as their voice is a weapon for social justice and an alarm bell in the ear of security corruption.
· The weak position of women defenders, the increasing confrontation with them, and the dilution of their issues and positions.
· The spread and continuation of injustice against the group you are defending, and the loss of their rights due to the loss of the supporter and defender.
